Today is my last day at my current job. woooo!

I tell you what I am extremely excited ( could be because I am high on cold and flu tabs)

What a weekend ahead as well...one of my best friends 25th birthday, a little girly brunch and mothers day :)

Bring on my new job on Monday...am super excited.

Apologies for my emo post yesterday, I have not been feeling 100% the last few days (including today) and am pretty excited for the weekend to roll around.

Am dreaming of somewhere tropical!! But.....have decided to embrace winter- warm clothes, cuddles and open fires = my idea of heaven!

Lately my mind has been filled with a lot of worry and I guess uncertainty, not really about anything in particular just the general up in the air feeling.
It has started to sink in that the last 2 years of my life a LOT has gone on and I have realised the place I thought I would be right now I am nowhere near at all but in a good way.

New house, new job, new everything I am looking forward to stepping out of routine.

Today I got my head around everything and have realised that I am lucky to be surrounded by amazing friends and family who aren't going anywhere....I have a fresh start (career wise) that might lead me inthe direction of what I want to do in the future.

Whatever happens, happens and more than likely it is meant to be...you can't force anything just take it as it comes, no point worrying!

ps sorry this post was a tad emo I am getting sick and feeling sorry for myself!!

I only have 3 days until I start my new job...clearing out my desk today and am super excited for a fresh start!!

Looking forward to a busy few months of birthdays, new job, boozy dinners/lunches and obviously a bit of relaxing as well!

So I went to bed at the grandma time of 9pm last night...and therefore woke up this morning at 4am.

I contempleted going back to sleep but just wasn't tired so i went running and watched the sun rise at Rushcutters Bay.

Today is Starlight Day, so I am helping sell some bits and pieces for charity, then I have my work farewell lunch at Neild Ave followed by drinks at The Passage.

I resigned from my job a few weeks ago and at the moment am training my replacement.

Am finding it a little bit weird handing over my last 2 years woth of work to someone else, I suppose everyone does things differently but I am having a slight wig out about a massive change of environment and comfort zone.

Bring on a new experience i guess.
