So Monday is actually the worst day of the week but at least the weather is defrosting Sydney finally!

Had an amazing weekend with fabulous company and can't wait for spring now. Started planning my best friends hens in Vegas and am also excited about a few other things!

Have an amazing week and I will be blogging a lot more!

When you first start dating someone its all about getting to know the other person (my favourite part actually) but there are  some factors that could be a huge deal breaker...these are things that might happen 3 years deep and be ok, but when they happen after 2 weeks or a month its usually enough to make the other person head for the hills.

* Dropping the 'L Bomb' when you are too hammered and you really don't mean it at all.
* Meeting the parents after only a few dates and unprepared.
* Peeing with the door open or while the other person is in the bathroom (romance will die right at that moment)
* Moving in - this can go both ways but if you don't know them too well always best to wait AT LEAST 6 months.
* Their mum has your number after 2 weeks and now calls you instead of their own child to ask stupid questions.
* Tattoo of their full name in an obvious place - if this falls through you basically will need to only date people with this name or name your first born after your ex (awkward much)!
* Calling every 5 minutes 'just to say hi', we have better things to do with our day than have meaningless repetitive conversations with you and no nothing exciting has happened since you called 5 minutes ago.

A very good friend of mine has recently decided he is over his heartache and is single and ready to mingle, but doesnt know how he will 'compete' with guys that are out there with great game.
Few Pointers:

* Lots of guys out there are skeazy and just want to bed ladies, don;t worry about this we can tell exatly who they are and if we were looking for that, then thats who we would date.
* Don't be too forward or too keen all at once- Pay attention to us but don't smother, relax and go with the flow desperation is not attractive and we can sense it from a mile away.
* Enjoy a good laugh - a sense of humour is extremely attractive and is a perfect ice breaker to make us feel more comfortable.
* The minute you stop looking you will find her - In the meantime have fun - Go on dates and lots of them its all about trial and error in my eyes.

When you are in a relationship, to make things work both people have to ‘give a little’ and make small changes/compromises to make things work. It doesn't mean totally changing yourself or your lifestyle, but occasionally things might pop up that you just have to let slide in order to keep the other person happy.

If you don’t do this and continue to roll with your normal life things are bound to clash and one person will end up unhappy.

* Appreciate the little things.
* Remember to say thank you.
* Understand that most people need their own time and space even if its just to paint your nails or read the paper.
* Knowing when giving someone too much space is not a good thing and can make the person feel like they are a burden
eg. Put in a bit of effort on the phone call front even if you aren't a 'phone person'.
* Showing interest in their hobbies even if it means you have to do something utterly boring to you.
* Don’t be too demanding and pick your battles.

If you stick with making an effort on the small things, no bigger issues should eventuate unless the other person is just a little screw loose or an emotional spaz.

When you end with someone (good or bad terms) there are certain times and places you just really do not want to see them.

Mostly its when you are walking out of the gym looking a bit worse for wear, or after a big night out.

Over the weekend I was talking to a good friend who was telling me the extent he goes to, to avoid running into his ex.

Made me think of other times and how we subconsciously avoid areas they might possibly be lurking.

* He avoided a work conference in fear that his ex would be there.

* Common areas you once frequented eg cafes, restaurants

*Taking the long way to the gym so you don’t have to walk past a place he always is ora workplace.

*Avoiding certain social outings

Basically when you do bump into them for the first time the best way to do it is if you are looking your best maybe a few bevvies under your belt and with a good group of friends….if this isn’t enough just pretend you didn’t see them and carry on.

I witnessed this first hand over the weekend, it happened to a few of my girlfriends and made me laugh.
We as ladies talk. We talk about EVERYTHING!
If you say to one of us 'you are amazing bla bla bla' (basically I want to get into your pants) then you use this exact line on the other girls that are also out in the group- especially on the same night.
1. You had no chance from the get go and spreading it on thick with the same group of friends will not work.
2. It just won't fly, get some original material and try it on just one person.
Another bone to pick is-what makes you men think it is normal/acceptable to send 10 messages in a row (with no response) to the extent of updating me on your cats movements? If a female did that we would be automatically labelled a 'nutcase stalker'. Take the silence as an 'I am just not that into you' response!

Apologies I have been a little slack and missing in action re: blog posts.
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. This usually means shit things come in 3's ( of course in my case 5's ) but I have come to realise that everything happens for a reason and now the shit storm has passed I can honestly say I am feeling more myself than I have for the last few months.
Moved house which was seriously the devil but well worth it! New house = making new fun memories.
If it weren't for a certain surrogate and as usual my amazeballs friends it would have been foul.
However bring on summer fun ASAP.
