I am sure it has happened to everyone at least once, you are single and you happen to know another great single and you decide to play cupid and set them up. if it doesn't go well this is almost always the most awkward situation you can put not just the two you are trying to set up but yourself in.

Basic Rules for successful Cupiding:

* Approach with caution - Some people think just because they have 2 single friends that they are destined to be together...FACT it is very hard to actually find someone you are compatible with so think it through before throwing them in the deep end.

* Just because a person is single does not mean they want to be in a relationship or even dating, they may take offence that you are trying to fix them up in the first place.

* Put yourself in their shoes and think how you would feel...remember it could be you that is being cupid'd next.

* Make sure you don't get drunk and embarrassing around them it will make everything a lot more awk.

* The easiest thing to do is to just not tell one of your cupiding victims...that way if sparks don't fly the other person had no idea they were even being set up..everyone wins.

If you are planning on doing some cupiding my best advice to you is to be super stealth about it..the less people know the better ;)

Well another week (thank god it was a short one) has rolled around again and we are officially mid June which semi freaks me out how fast this year is flying by.

You know you have problems when one of the guys at work is having a heated arguement and says something it "F*cking Ridicluous and a Kanye West song with the same lyrics starts playing in your head!

This weekend fingers crossed stays nice and sunny for the engagement party on Saturday and hopefully some nice relaxation in the sun to prep me for a rather big week next week!

You have to love a good long weekend!
Today feels like Tuesday but we are already at Wednesday woooo bring on the weekend again.

This weekend is a biggie, one of my very close friends engagement party...am very very excited!
Apart from that i have absolutely nothing to report....seriously scraping the barrel for topics...I mean I have a few but prob not very appropes.

Anyway have a great week (or whats left of it) hopefully this foul depressing weather will be gone soon and we can go back to being able to actually leave the house again.

So Friday has finally arrived after seriously the longest week everrrr!

I have just been informed that the girl whose bouquet i am doing wants majority BABY'S BREATH. If you don't know much about flowers, this is in fact the most horrible, ugly old fashioned flower on earth (the devil flower to florists). No arrangement can look nice when that flower is around...

Now that I have had my vent I wanted to tell you all to have an amazing long weekend.

Lets hope this weather holds out and stays amazing (cold but amazing)

Tomorrow is Wednesday (hump day) and let me tell you this weekend can not come soon enough.

Winter has well and truly hit home today in Sydney... It feels like it could snow (ok yes I am a massive baby and feel the cold a lot more than most) this being said I have opted to stay in tonight and dusted off the old wii fit and did an in-house yoga/Pilates session.

Busy couple of days and nights ahead....work has gone from busy to manic, am doing vivid and a few vinos with my lovely mum, girls dinner, doing ALL the flowers for a wedding which then will be followed by a nice relaxing Saturday afternoon booze session with friends.

I hope everyone's week has been fabulous so far... Just think we are almost at the long weekend. woooo!

So Sydney has decided to dish out some seriously foul rainy weather just in time for the start of winter.

Getting out of bed this morning has proven extremely hard considering the shithouse weather

Have a super busy week ahead... Lots of dinners, catching up with the girls and on Saturday am doing the flowers for a wedding.

Thank god next weekend is a long one :)

I guess make the most of this awful weather and cosy up on the couch and get a stockpile of DVDs!
