Picking an outfit for a first date can be risky...you don't want to be overdressed but you still want to look banging.
I think best to stick with something semi casual and put on a nice wedge, this way you still have the height and length in the legs but the wedge dresses it down a bit.
It also depends if you are going to a casual restaurant or to a classy upper scale restaurant.
